About Me
My name is Kevin Morris. I also go by the nickname kevr online.
While experienced primarily with C/C++, I have delved into the Python world
a lot more as of late. I am likely going to be tredding down the Rust path
shortly, but my primary focus at the moment is Python and becoming more
proficient with its web and database frameworks.
For the past half a year or so, I have been learning all about the AUR
and its related friends as I was porting legacy PHP code over to Python,
using FastAPI (Starlette) and SQLAlchemy. It was a long road,
but we were able to finish this up and release the port live (ps. there are
some edge cases and bugs still being worked out).
Those interested can check out more about what I've done through my
portfolio page at kevr.0cost.org.
Why would you sponsor Kevin?
I spend my time working on these projects without any current income.
I will always work on open source code for free, however, donations
on this platform would very much allow me to spend more time on aurweb
or other open source projects.
These donations would come in extremely useful for food, hygeinics,
and supporting a few servers which I use for email and project management.
It would really help a lot!
Interested in aurweb?
We still have some bugs to work out and some new features on the way. As
we are not a large team, any contributors interested in working on these
things are always welcome!
