I love transforming NLP research into easy-to-use frameworks that can be used by large audiences.

Some of my open-source projects:

  • sentence-transformers is a framework to compute multilingual text & image embeddings. It can be used for semantic search, clustering, topic extraction, de-duplication and many more use-cases. Sentence-transformers is under active development, where I work with a team of Ph.D. students to improve the quality of the available models and of the framework.
  • EasyNMT makings using state-of-the-art Neural Machine Translation really easy for 100+ languages.

Also have a look at my research: I like to address questions in the area of domain adaptation and multilinguality in the area of semantic search / neural search. Each research finding (paper, models, datasets, code) will be released to the public.
