The Pants Build organization is a 501(c)(6) non-profit open source community building tools to improve the lives of software developers. In particular, we develop tools like the Pants build system.

Our community is made up of maintainers from a broad variety of backgrounds and companies: Pants does not have a singular sponsoring company, so contributions are essential, and fund infrastructure to host and further develop these projects.
