Become a sponsor to LJ
I am an architect and have specialized in building developer tools for the past few years. I have experience in deploying APIs used by mobile apps and B2B systems, as well building developer focused apps. I really want to continue investing in the IBM i community by bringing powerful, open-source tooling to developers to make building applications easier and faster. I am passionate in building tools that people actually want to use, so being close to the end user is very important to me.
Since 2016, I have spoken at over 30 conferences in three continents and I am really proud to share what knowledge I have.
Experiences
If you're curious about some of the projects I've worked on as a developer and architect, please check out some of my favourite blog posts:
- Mapepire: Node.js performance testing against ODBC
- Code for IBM i testing journey
- IBM i: actually using automated pipelines, builds and git
Support
Sponsoring me will allow me to work on the following projects, hopefully do it full time, and can additionally support you or your business when using them.
- Code for IBM i
- And new spin-off extensions!
- Plus, I'd like to spend more time building additional AI powered tooling for IBM i.
- Db2 for IBM i extension
- RPGLE support in Visual Studio Code
- CICD tools for IBM i (RPGLE & COBOL) applications
- Git tooling that works with IBM i
- Integrations with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps and GitHubs
- Source Orbit for dependency management and application deployment
- IBM i CI for connecting build systems and many IBM i LPARs together
- IBM i Renderer (soon to be the Designer) for building display files (and maybe printer files!)
- Node.js and dotnet applications
- Including making use of Mapepire
