race condition: setup mode redirect might run into transient HTTP 404

This is because the default listeners are set up way later than the redirect happens.

I’m not entirely sure yet how to fix this properly: possibly we need another state in the setupMux to delay responses until the handlers are set up. Or maybe there is a more elegant solution :).

As a workaround, reloading the page helps.
