[Feature] Exporting scenes to a .m3u playlist #1939
Comments
For the time being until v 0.12.0 is out, if you use Windows, you can use Stash_Helper for the .m3u creation. |
Can we use an external player insted of the embedded? can it be configured without Stash_Helper? |
Launching an external player from a browser with different OS is much more difficult than you thought. This is where an external GUI helper should come in and do the job. |
This seems like non-core functionality. It would be ideal as a plugin - but I realise that the current plugin functionality doesn't really allow for something like this. Leaving open with the view to expand the plugin system to facilitate something like this. |
I vote for this. M3U is basically a text file with one stream link per line. Would be nice |
My Kodi Exporter currently exports one scene per m3u, but could pretty easily add queue export functionality. I'll look into it. Perhaps just "select" what you want and end up an m3u of them all. I'll follow up in this. Too many items in my todo queue for now |
It would be nice to have the option to export selected or currently filtered scenes (or movies) to an .m3u playlist, which could then be saved to the desired location and opened by an external media player. In terms of the UI, this could possibly be an extension to the current Export functionality, which allows you to either export all the filtered scenes / movies or the selected scenes / movies.
