Joining already joined public chat causes never ending "Loading..." #7952

User Story

As a user when I re-join already active public chat, I do not want to see "Loading..." intro screen.

This is a more relatable description of #7819

Expected behavior

Proper intro header of the chat is seen

Actual behavior

Intro header of populated chat, or empty chat screen shows never ending "Loading..." intro

Reproduction

  1. Have some public chats - join a new one if you have to
  2. Join again any one of the public chats by pressing + button -> Join public chat

Solution

consider merging #7820 which was a part of #7454 but later requested to be made as a separate PR
