This feature is NOT 'Digital Forms' (defined as the ability to digitally create, edit, share, complete, submit and action customisable questions on an asset or task).
Digital forms are on our wishlist, though this functionality will be developed separately (as you can appreciate how complex the requirements are for this to be to done right).
Overview:
Maintenance will be broken into (4) key components:
Service Schedule
Work Orders
Inspections
Service History
Service Schedule
Used to define and manage the frequency of services required on each asset in your fleet.
Display how close each asset is to its service
Will auto-update based on changing SMU (engine/odometer) hours of the asset
Work Orders
A Work Order is a completable task such as a scheduled service or remedying a reported defect/issue.
Field workers will be able to complete Work Orders based on priority, what's due and what's upcoming
Accessible and completable from both office and mobile devices
Will be billable (linkable) to a job, allowing for the cost of repairs to be attributed to (and collected) during job invoicing
Existing company docs/forms can be photographed/scanned and attached to a WO
Inspections
Used to find and report issues, not remedy them. Much like Work Orders, these will be tasks in the field that can be completed on an asset but differ from Work Orders in that, they are not physical tasks, as much as they are used to 'find' physical tasks/defects that need to be done.
Includes pre/post-hire inspections
Existing company docs/forms can be photographed/scanned and attached to an inspection
