Here, #135 the problem of highlight colours not being imported from Zotero was solved. I managed to get things to work following @stefanopagliari suggestion. However, I discovered a new problem. While the highlight colours now reflect with bibnotes, if a comment is added to those highlights within Zotero, it screws up how it's represented in Obsidian and the highlight colours fail to reflect.
In the first screenshot, I added a test comment "something something something" to a highlight. The comments are also toggled in the settings to always appear before the highlights. You can see that the surrounding highlights without any comments are properly highlighted with their colours but the highlight with a comment, which is meant to be the colour red, is not.
In the second screenshot, the setting to always appear before the highlights is toggled off so now the highlight gets highlighted with its colour but the comment fails to show at all. I've played around with a few settings and looked through the issues here but I've been unable to solve this problem. Any help is appreciated.
