Hi, tested AirSonos with Node 0.12.7 and 5.0,0. using ITunes sending sound via AirPlay
Both Node versions working fine.
The only difference I noticed, is when sending the music to two AirPlay devices
(Sonos & MAC Speaker, or
SONOS & BOSE Airplay device)

there is a delay on the AirSonos sound compared to the other device when using Node 5.0.0.

On node 0.12.7 the divices are much more syncron.

I was also able to get airsonos to become a usable airplay speaker through any means (System Output, iTunes, AirFoil, Porthole) but there was a significant delay when connected to other airplay speakers at the same time. Contrary to @Geraldf, my experience was the opposite when it came to Node v. 0.12.7 vs Node v. 5.0.0. My experience was that the delay when using Node v. 5.0.0 was much less than when using Node v. 0.12.7. The delay for Node v. 0.12.7 was approximately 4-6 seconds, whereas the delay for Node v. 5.0.0 was only ½ sec to 1 sec. Either way, the delay made it unusable. But excited that airsonos is now allowing streams from iTunes, AirFoil, and Porthole finally. Not sure what is causing such a drastic delay, but hopefully it is something that can get ironed out and then airsonos will then be it ideal solution to my multi-room audio setup with both airplay speakers and sonos speakers all capable of playing the same stream in sync.

I am aware that when using the computer speaker and another airplay speaker there is a delay sometimes and to mitigate that I am running AiplayServer on my Mac and stream to the Airplay speaker created by AirplayServer so the stream is playing only to Airplay Speakers instead of playing natively on my Mac and then streaming to an Airplay speaker. This is not the same issue I am referencing above. This delay issue is persistent no matter the setup scenario. The airsonos Airplay Speaker is ALWAYS delayed when played simultaneously with another Airplay Speaker. Just wanted to clear that up and let you know that I did test several different setups to make sure one wasn't better or worse than the other . The only major difference was, as noted above, the Node version made a huge difference in the delay.
