Line numbers occasionally disappear when you click on or make changes to a line. Seems to be an issue with l3afpad only (i.e. not with leafpad).

i usually use it without line numbers, so i have not noticed this yet, and in a short test, was unable to reproduce it. how often does it happen? which OS ant GTK version are you using? can you compile and run in a debugger (for example gdb / ddd) yourself, to hunt the bug?

I have the same problem, line numbers don't appear (it happens only on l3afpad, on leafpad it's ok). Both installed from repositories.

Fedora 31 XFCE (GTK 3)

It didn't work reliably, sometimes missed redraws when needed.
