In the spirit of the open source community, it's helpful to share what efforts are currently under way so contributors new and old can pitch in to help. The Github issues aren't too helpful in tracking what the short or long term roadmap looks like or what can be worked on aside from bug fixes. Hopefully this will be a good place to start.

Alpha/Beta testing:

  • Test 3.0.0-alpha.x versions to help catch bugs - help speed up our next release!

General:

  • Help upgrade major version dependencies created by dependencies.io
  • Merge in new addons that have been added to the Storybook org

Storybook React:

  • [ ]

Storybook React-Native:

  • 0.49.x upgrade - test to make sure all CLI tools work

Kitchen Sinks:
(These help us test against regressions, gives users example usages, and sometimes find obscure features that are undocumented or broken)

  • Add usage examples for all addons that are compatible with vue in vue-kitchen-sink
  • Add usage examples for all addons that are compatible with react-native in vanilla-react-native-app and crna-kitchen-sink

Documentation:

  • Research and add information about each addon or app's stability and reliability to README files to help potential users gauge their interest. (ex: react is stable, angular is in alpha/beta, vue is relatively stable, etc.)

Tooling:

Last, but not least:

  • Please take a look at all issues with help wanted. The good first issue tag tracks those that are well documented and/or smaller easier changes.

Storybook members: Feel free to add or edit this post to add things that you see fit.

Hi everyone! Seems like there hasn't been much going on in this issue lately. If there are still questions, comments, or bugs, please feel free to continue the discussion. Unfortunately, we don't have time to get to every issue. We are always open to contributions so please send us a pull request if you would like to help. Inactive issues will be closed after 60 days. Thanks!
