New Contributor Introduction & Interest in SU2

Hello SU2 maintainers and community

I’m Anas, a student developer interested in contributing to SU2. I’ve read and fully agree with the Contributor Covenant Code of Conduct and appreciate the project’s commitment to maintaining a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative environment.

I’m currently exploring the SU2 codebase and documentation to understand the architecture and contribution workflow. My background includes working with large codebases, CI workflows, and research-oriented software projects, and I’m eager to start with beginner-friendly issues or documentation improvements.

I’d appreciate any guidance on good first issues, recommended areas for new contributors, or best practices specific to SU2 development.
