Since Nvidia added some sort of support for RTX on GTX 1060 6GB and above in the 10 Series and eventually getting a GTX 1070 to try out Quake II RTX and seeing how well it ran (if I lowered the resolution, of course), I was thinking of seeing if there was a Quake I mod that also has RTX... until I stumbled upon this mod.
I installed the mod correctly and every time the game opened up with a white screen, it would just crash after 2 seconds or so. At first, I thought that I didn't install the files properly, then I started to suspect that GTX 10 Series GPUs (including my GTX 1070) might not be supported, despite having the capability of lightweight ray tracing, also despite not being very good at it.
Maybe some people with a 10 Series GPU would be happy if this mod supported those Pascal GPUs...? If that's not possible, then oh well.

For reference, prboom-plus-rt features non-RTX fallback, but Serious-Engine-RT doesn't.
