Could you tell us a little bit more about your issue? Perhaps attach your config file?

It's not my robot, so I don't have a configuration. I just joined a channel it was in and said "Nickname is already in use." and the bot changed its nick. That's a bug that exists in all versions of the bot.

Well if someone using the bot was using the same channel of course the usernames would overlap.
Did you run the script multiple times? Sometimes it doesn't quit right away if you do a hard disconnect.

Currently the bot listen to the input and changes his Name if a specific string appears.

There is no filter implemented yet.

We have to fix this.

This is fixed as of one of my commits lately.
