Profile Inheritance: inherits = Make Presets Great Again

I filed few preset-related issues with PrusaSlicer, not sure if there is any interest over there:

• Profile Inheritance: no multiple inheritance in the UI user mode prusa3d/PrusaSlicer#12640
• Profile Config: inconsistent parsing of print/start_gcode vs filament/start_filament_gcode prusa3d/PrusaSlicer#12629
• Profile Inheritance: UI: Provide Parent Preset Link Button prusa3d/PrusaSlicer#12626
• Profile Inheritance: UI: Provide a Button: Hide/Show Parent Entries. prusa3d/PrusaSlicer#12611

I also noticed an old pending preset-related feature request here in the SuperSlicer:

• Feature Request: Allow user to update or select preset for Filament (Printers, etc too maybe?) #421

Finally, I looked at cpp source for the presets/parsing, and that looks unmaintainable.

Nonetheless, I am curious if there is any interest or any hope to "Make Presets Great Again" in SuperSlicer?

Not in the short or medium term.
I have many more things to improve in priority.
