Console for running arbitrary code (dape + PHP + xdebug) when stopped on breakpoint

Hello,
I'm wondering whether REPL provides an option similar to console in phpstorm storm debugger. Console let's you run arbitrary code from the state at current breakpoint. Is there similar functionality in dape?

Hey, dape repl has the same capabilities as the vscode-php-debug dap extension has.

I you start the adapter then php <somefile> you are able to evaluate php in the REPL, but I don't think you are able to use the repl until you have started debugging session.

There might be someway to do it but as I am not an PHP user myself I have not looked in to it.
