Description

Progress bar in miniplayer non-functional when GMP tab isn't in focus

Did it work before?

Issue occurred before a couple of months ago, was resolved, but has now returned in the last few days.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Just use normally.

Expected behavior

For progress bar to continually update user on how much of the song has played.

Actual behavior

Progress bar does nothing. Additionally, when next song starts, miniplayer displays the track duration for the previous track, which further breaks functionality when user tries to skip to specific point in song. Going to the GMP tab in the browser restores correct track duration/progress bar and movement.

I am having this same problem and can reproduce it as well. Doesn't matter the song. Even if I don't use last.fm, if the tab is not focused, the progress bar does not work.

Doesn't look like there is any more development for this app...I've switched to a different one...
