Port GUI To Native Apps For Better Decentralization / Security / Performance

Actual behavior:

Centralized web-based app is the portal for EVERY basic user

Expected behavior:

Ported GUI to native apps for all major platforms, decentralized for better uptime / security / performance (example: status mobile app for instance). Local or remote ETH node setting included for advanced users, so they can choose their preferred node (with a DEFAULT for newbies who mess with settings).

NOTE: I'm not trying to rain on this parade in any way. I'm a big fan of full decentralization (when practical of course), and wanted to contribute my 2 cents from that angle.
