I had this issue with DashCast and HADashboard (from AppDaemon) also and the fix in this file worked there also. To use this fix, download the ha-catt-fix.js file, save it into the custom_javascript folder in the AppDaemon config folder and restart AppDaemon. Scripts in this folder are automatically added to every dashboard.

Once I did this, a notification popped up on my phone that something was being casted to the Google Nest Hub. I still need to give it a bit more of a test run, but on the surface it does seem to work.

@swiergot could you maybe expand the documentation / README with this?

I can confirm this works. I stopped the "auto restart" automation hours ago and the dashboard hasn't stopped casting since. Thank you for the script.
