Just for awareness yes indeed this action is deprecated an should be archived in favour of https://github.com/synopsys-sig/synopsys-action. Nevertheless the current action from https://github.com/synopsys-sig/synopsys-action has some issues that are currently blocking for people using self hosted instances of GitHub synopsys-sig/synopsys-action#111.

Since this action (synopsys-sig/detect-action) is no longer maintained and some of the issues were blocking we decided to continue its development on an up to date fork https://github.com/mercedesbenzio/detect-action, that has this issue fixed.
