Before we are back to business, let me update you. Forgive for my lack on interaction for the past months. I have been sick but I am finally getting back to normal :)
This way, I have new FRs :)
I have an idea that I would like to share with you.
I have been thinking about this for a long time and since we are gonna have a new AMAZING AQS search, I think is time to talk about this.
the idea is simple to explain: a new command that let the user CYCLE between selected AQS Searches when an AQS Modal is open in the screen.
● 100% Customazible by user: user define which AQS Search is gonna be cycle and the order.
● Multiple Cycle Commands: user can have more than one custom cycle and apply different hotkeys for each one of them.
Motivation
AQS is my vault hub. every navigation and search that I do inside my vault is from an AQS modal (there is one missing point that I am gonna talk to you in another FR).
This way, I have a bunch of AQS hotkeys to apply this workflow.
Let me show an example:
⭕️ For navigate/search content from the Active Note we have these AQS Modals:
⭘ Heading Search
⭘ In-file Search (in beta)
⭘ Backlink Search
⭘ Link Search
I have to define a different hotkey to each one of these AQS Modals
My FR is about a way to reduce these hotkeys to two:
1️⃣ Open an AQS Search (traditional Obsidian operation)
2️⃣ When the an AQS Search is open, a new hotkey that let me cycle between the AQS Searches (based on a user pre-defined order)
This way, we can make All AQS Searches integrated and dynamic
Thanks for reading this !!!!! I hope you like my suggestion 🙏 🙏 🙏
Let me know if you need more information !!!
Feels good to be back and to talk to you again :)
Have a great day 🌞
