Noticed this new version in my search results today:
With "site:reddit.com" added the search result gets rendered as usual:
This got me thinking: currently the first row only shows "reddit.com" and the second one includes redundant or useless info: "https://www.reddit.com › " and " › comments"
So why not move the subreddit name to the first row, next to "reddit.com" and place the post meta in the second row? Reducing the result description from three rows back to two:
Also the name of the post author could be added, and some text strings could be shortened to icons.
Something like this:
But I'm no UI designer and I'm not sure if I even like this idea. Feedback is very welcome here.
