Can I ask you which changes did you make?
Maybe some improvements could be ported back to plate-tectonics

The main things I changed can be found in section features of the read-me.
The biggest change is lithosphere->setTopography where you can apply changes to the height map during runtime, which I needed for my RTWG project.

I have to write my master thesis till mid February. Afterwards I can take a look, what I can merge back.
