Remote stays searching

Hi, Id like to ask to ask for some help in this regard in case I might be missing anything:
Yesterday I reset the location and privacy settings on my phone in order to troubleshoot an issue I was having on two phones I own. One is true is running iOS18 Beta but the other is my daily driver running iOS17. Since the moment I did this, the remote on control centre stays searching and never connects to the TV on any of the phones.

Ive tried some basic troubleshooting such as forgetting the networks and reconnecting, and have also tried uninstalling the plugin and setting it up again from scratch... Unfortunately nothing has solved the issue.

Any ideas on what could be causing the Remote app not to connect to the TV? using Smartthings connects flawlessly on both phones.
