Actually it is possible. --split-chapters flag of yt-dlp has to be used. file name output template needs to be used as well, probably.

For chapter file location the only way to use is to use paths for moving downloaded files. Note chapter prefix. E.g.

yt-dlp --split-chapters "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcig6lxjm00" --paths "chapter:sub/"
