Custom Lock or Unlock sequence

Hi,

first of all, thanks for this awesome project. It works perfectly fine.

With the Locking cylinder inside my front door I have the issue, that if the lock is automatically locked and unlocked with the nuki, I can not use a key from the outside.

It seems as if locking and unlocking with the nuki decouples the outer part of the lock. So the key inserted from the outside no longer works. The key can be turned endlessly until the outer part of the cylinder gets in contact with the inner part again (this could be after 5 full turn arounds, but sometimes 20 or more, or when performing some very random left and right movements with the key). If the outer cylinder is in contact again, the door can be opened again from the outside as usual.

This behaviour heavily decreases the Nukis "woman/wife acceptance factor" 😢

Maybe I could solve this problem by having the Nuki turn the key again in the opposite direction after unlocking.

Is this currently possible?

No. But a new cylinder should not cost a lot.

This does seem like an issue with your cylinder and indeed is not something NukiHub (or Nuki) can fix.

Thanks for your replies.
It would not be an issue that the NukiHub could fix but I hoped for a workaround 😄
I'll need to check how complicated or easy it is to change the cylinder in the door.
