kibana is either stuck on health: starting or gives 502 in browser #1636

Hi, TIA for taking your time out and helping me.

  • What OS is your T-Pot running on? Linux
  • What is the version of the OS lsb_release -a and uname -a? Ubuntu 24.04 LTS
  • What T-Pot version are you currently using (only T-Pot 24.04.x is currently supported)?T-Pot 24.04.0
  • What architecture are you running on (i.e. hardware, cloud, VM, etc.)? VM hosted on local cloud
  • Review the ~/install_tpot.log,. Installation was ok
  • How long has your installation been running? 2-3 weeks. It was fine uptil a few hours ago
  • Did you install upgrades, packages or use the update script? No
  • Did you modify any scripts or configs? If yes, please attach the changes. Nothing related to Kibana, only copied a file in citrixhoneypot container
  • Please provide a screenshot of htop and docker stats.

  • How much free disk space is available (df -h)?

  • What is the current container status (dps)?

ok this is not usually the case but while taking ss i noticed that my logstash and elasticsearch went to unhealthy state.

I restarted the VM, now it shows everything is fine ;-;

but when i visit the Kibana page it shows me 502

  • On Linux: What is the status of the T-Pot service (systemctl status tpot)?

  • What ports are being occupied? Stop T-Pot systemctl stop tpot and run grc netstat -tulpen

nvm, i overlooked my root file system, in the above SS. It is visible that /dev/sda1 is 100% utilized. I mounted 50GB storage and it fixed the issue!
