Delete key in ChromeOS is doing backspace not delete

Hi Termux,

Not sure if this is just me but i recently noticed that the Delete key on my physical (external bluetooth) keyboard is doing backspace and not delete

as in its deleting from the left and not the right

Laptop: Asus ChromeBook Flip
ChromeOS Beta version: 64.0.3282.134
Keyboard: Logitech k810
Termux info:
Updatable packages:
All packages up to date
System information:

Note: In ChromeOS Alt+Back is Delete if your keyboard doesn't have the Delete key (which normal chromebooks don;t)
Alt+Back in Termux is currently doing Back

hi all

in the latest version of termux the delete key now works correctly!!!!

not sure if this is related to the updated version of ncurses(-ui) or what but it works

heres my system info
