Support HVM based virtualization #25
Comments
@devilankur18 thank you for the report. We would gladly review a Pull Request adding this functionality. |
Ohai! We would welcome a Pull Request for discussion of this added functionality. However, as part of our new issue triaging, we are closing "Feature Requests" or "Enhancements" that the core team will be not be implementing ourselves. While these "nice to haves" are certainly worth adding, the core team focuses primarily on bugs, security fixes, and maintenance. |
I think this has become a 'must have', considering it looks like the t2 small and micro only support HVM? Virtualization type 'hvm' is required for instances of type 't2.micro'. |
agreed, type 'hvm' is required for the "t2" range as far as I can tell. |
Was this ever added? |
Don't think so. Would definitely be nice for personal development on EC2 and for developers without access to a large paid-for VPC :) |
Support for HVM based virtualization for AWS EC2 would be really helpful.
