With the attached one-page TUGboat item, nidanfloat provokes the warning from TeX:
which causes TeX to exit with bad status, even though it's not an error.
I worked around it with
\let\vss\relax
before the\end{document}
. Not sure if it's anything fixable, but clearly something is going awry here.I hope it will reproduce simply with "pdflatex tb139reviews-wichary.ltx" with the currently released ltugboat class.
I'll also attach the two images that are included. It's a complicated page :).
Thanks for creating nidanfloat. We use it quite frequently in TUGboat.
