Same thing for me, so it's not just you. I can't tell what settings are carried over, though, because there's no longer a tray icon but the upgrade button is still removed. I didn't experiment with much to test anything. I just went back to 3.3.6 for now.

What is the system locale of your PC?

me? English (United States)
figured didn't matter who you were asking, info from either of us could help since we're both having the same issue. Also on Windows 10 Pro.

I experience the same issues on the linux version (currently 3.3.9).

No menus, can't set preferences, use systray, etc.

Yeah, I can definitely confirm none of the actual configs are reset, it's just that I can't access them from the app anymore. For example, DRP and Video Toggle still works.

Yeah, all settings are still there. Downgrading to 3.3.6 got everything working again

Same bug on Archlinux. It's quite annoying because the system tray doesn't work anymore, and the app can't be put into background - it must stay open in order to work

Same on Fedora 40 KDE, default menu and not working sys tray. Reverted to 3.3.6 and everything is working correctly there

Everything works correctly now on 3.3.10, but only after clean reinstall, i.e. remove all YouTube Music data inside ~/.config/YouTube Music (or %appdata%/YouTube Music if you're a Windows user).
