Preflight Checklist

  • I use the latest version of YouTube Music (Application).
  • I have searched the issue tracker for a feature request that matches the one I want to file, without success.

Problem Description

In the previous versions of the YouTube Music was a bug which was causing the default symbolic between lines to not be added.

[02:04.10] Help me to be patient
[02:09.30] Help me to be patient
[02:12.73] // this line wasn't added to the lyrics
[02:21.22] Through every valley, there's a mountain on the other side
[02:26.58] It's at the bottom where you're teaching me how to climb

When the song reaching this line, no lyrics were highlighted

Proposed Solution

Add new default symbol between lines "None" or "Disabled" to defocus from the lyrics during the empty line

Alternatives Considered

No answer

Additional Information

In 3.6.1 selecting " " symbol was providing this functionality
The red line is where the empty line proposed to be.

Now, selecting " " works fine

I am confused, are you saying that your issue is resolved on the new version?

No. It's not a bug, it's a feature request. Older versions WERE a bug, causing the " " line symbol to not be displayed. But this bug WAS fixed. I just want to bring back the experience this bug was providing.

The first picture is the behavior I want to see and the second is how it works right now in the latest version.
