Darkness v1.2 is out! ❤️‍🔥

Regular release packed with a couple of new features and fixes! Here is the list of change/features:

• Added a clean command -- imagine megumin but less verbose
• Make header level shifting an opt-in feature
• Support underline and strike-through markup
• Added an option to use roman numerals for footnotes
• Added an option to enable/disable footnote brackets
• Updated the Ishmael example with new features

Here are some of the fixes:

• Fixed up some previews with malformed https:/ prefixes
• Removed all the orgmode formatting from meta titles, like descriptions
• Ignore non-existent error messages when using clean command
• Flatten formatting and markup on the <title> tag
• Added missing alt value to the myface profile photo

Hello! This is the first major release for Darkness that includes a couple of new features:

• Tables
• Drop caps
• Custom page previews
• Better quotation marks
• Custom description lengths for pages
• Titles get properly formatted for html
• Support for video files and preprocessing

Hello! This is a stable release of darkness that supports full formatting, embeds, new project creation, maintenance, cleanup, and so much more that is all described here!

This release will have some binaries for different platforms. You can also build it yourself (with go 1.18+) with

go install -v github.com/thecsw/darkness@latest
