Looks like this unit is using a Realtek rts3903 cpu, not supported by thingino 😓 Check the front thingino.com page for supported models. Wyze and eufy are popular. |

One more detail, based on the sticker on the PCBs this is not a v4 board but a v2, "Tapo C100(EU)/2.0" |

Many thanks for the quick replies... @ikout the box says v4, unfortunately as it has the Realtek rts3903 CPU, it does not matter what version. |

Hello,
Thank you to the developers for their work, I'm keen to use this software for a camera to monitor the inside of a birdbox - I do not mind what camera I use I am keen to have something that runs open-source firmware. Looking at the local market in Poland I have found the TP-Link Tapo C100 v4 and purchased a unit to play with, but I am struggling to identify what chipset it uses and if this camera is supported.
thingino site says it supports:
T23N, SC2336, RTL8188FTV, 8MB
T31L, SC2336, RTL8188FTV, 8MB
Here are the photos of the PCB:
My questions are:
Finally, I don't mind what camera I use so would be happy to have suggestions on a model that is easier to flash that has audio support (camera > viewer) and night vision
Thank you,
tim
