Can you explain the steps you took to install HMM? Appears you might be using Mono.

Can you explain the steps you took to install HMM? Appears you might be using Mono.

I'm using the bottle method with the .ylm file.
Sonic Generations works Fine with the HMM, but I get that error everytime I try to save mods to Sonic Frontiers. Then I can't start the game unless I uninstall it, and reinstall it.

I tried testing it with different mods enabled, but no matter what mod it is once I hit save once Sonic Frontiers no longer starts, and HMM gives me the same error as the first. Sonic Generations works fine with mods enabled. It's running on Proton 7-41 same for Frontiers.

HMM is not detecting .NET Framework in the game prefix and is trying to link the install from itself, but that is also not being detected as the framework which is causing HMM to constantly retry every time you save.

If you delete /home/deck/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/1237320/pfx/drive_c/windows/Microsoft.NET.bak then save once, does the game still run?

No it's says my access to the path 'Z:/.../1237320/ .../windows/Microsoft.NET' is denied

Did you follow this guide when you installed HMM, or a different guide?

If you did follow the linked guide, you can for now try the "Manually installing libraries from another system." step from this section.

Currently not sure what exactly happened.

I tried the steamtinkerlaunch method first but it would never launch before switching to the bottle method I'll try the Manual Install.

This is the tutorial i followed before using the bottle method. Steamtinkerlaunch never launched HMM after using the Konsole command HMM start.

Manually installed windows.7z. HMM saves and the game starts, but any physics mods, or Amy Frontiers Crashes the gane on start.

I have also manually installed the windows.7z provided
I can start the games with the "SM64 Mario: Standalone", "Shadow Gens-Like Physics" mods and the system codes disabling telemetry and booting directly to the title.

Adding the recent "Cyber Space Extra" mod, it always crashes before booting to the title screen. It's easily reproducible.

I'm on Steam Deck just in case, and have had no issue with Shadow Generations, so I find it strange.
