Consider moving Duration of the pitch history setting from Expert to Basic settings. I think it isn't expert setting.

It is indeed not so expert, but I also expect that hardly anyone would change it and I am trying to keep the basic settings as simple as possible.

I see, but however suggest consider the organization of the settings. What are the most important settings? Is the division to Basic and Expert sections essential, could there be more sections?

Sure, this should always be reconsidered. Feel free to make suggestions. But please only do this if you also can accept if I do not implement them.
