I mistakenly opened this in the wca-live repo, but it belongs here. :/

Actual (problem) behavior

The link in "You can view and change the rounds over on the WCA" doesn't work properly for competitions with non-ASCII (I assume) characters in their name (e.g. "á"). The link for a competition named "Fátima en Montevideo 2024" (whose ID is "FatimaenMontevideo2024") points to https://www.worldcubeassociation.org/competitions/FtimaenMontevideo2024/events/edit (notice the missing a in the ID).

Expected behavior

The link in the example should point to https://www.worldcubeassociation.org/competitions/FatimaenMontevideo2024/events/edit.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Create a competition with non-ASCII characters (I'm not sure if this happens with all of them) in its name.
  2. Go to TNoodle and log-in.
  3. Click on the competition you just created and try to open the link. You should see a 404 page.

Desktop:

  • OS: Linux and macOS.
  • Browser: Chromium 128.0.6613.85.
  • TNoodle Version: 1.2.2.
  • Java version: 17.0.12.
