The WCA email account policy states:

Staff are required to use their WCA email for all official World Cube Association related business.

What constitutes official WCA related business exactly? Doing things like responding to emails concerning a competition, responding to incident reports, and writing an email from one team/committee to another all seem clear-cut as official to me, but other things seem much less clear.

A strict interpretation could prohibit using other communication methods outside of email which I believe is not the intention of the email policy. For example, a social media post advertising a competition, communicating with organizers to plan a competition using Whastapp, or teams/committees use telegram or slack channels as a less formal and quicker method of communication within their respective teams/committees could all be considered "official WCA related business" but happen quite often.

Maybe I’m just being a bit too picky about exact wording but I feel like this could be defined a little bit better or maybe adjusted to grant some exceptions :P
