Transcription never start #505
Comments
Start with few seconds audio and check if it works |
Thank you for the suggestion.
I tested the app with the provided sample audio file (single.wav), but
unfortunately, the issue persisted—the app still did not begin transcribing,
even after waiting for over 2 minutes. I also ensured the program was running as
an administrator, but this did not resolve the problem (see image).
Could you please advise if there are any additional steps I should take to
troubleshoot this issue?
Thank you for your help!

The first thing you can do is click the report issue button in the settings Right click > dev tools > console |
Happens for me too. |
Thank you for your guidance. I followed your instructions and attempted to transcribe the file while using the developer console. Unfortunately, there is no "Report Issue" button in the settings, as the app does not recognize any explicit issue—it simply does not start transcribing without providing any error messages or reasons. When I opened the developer console (via Right Click > Dev Tools > Console), I encountered the error message shown in the attached screenshot. This might provide some insight into what is causing the transcription process to fail. Could you please review the screenshot and advise on any potential fixes or additional troubleshooting steps? I appreciate your support in resolving this matter. |
That's odd, which os and x86 or arm?
Thanks for the screen shot I can't see error there |
Thank you for your response. I’ve pasted below the output I received when I clicked the "Report Issue" button—I was finally able to locate it. As per your suggestion, I also tried switching to the "tiny" model, but unfortunately, the issue persists. I have feeling that there's general issue in Windows 10 |
What happened?
I installed the app on my Windows 10 laptop, uploaded a 4+ hour file, and clicked the button to start the transcription. However, after waiting for over 6 hours, the transcription never began. I restarted the program and ran it as an administrator, but the issue persisted.
