Noting wrong on your side. Thunderbird's webextension api is very limited, and does not expose any access the filesystem. Thus im- and exporting scripts into a file is technically no more possible. The standalone app does not have such limitations, as it does not depend upon thunderbird to run. But both the WebExtension and standalone app share a common codebase and this UI part obviously sneaked into the the WebExtension code base. So technically the menu just should be hidden inside the webextension. |

When I click Export Script, there is no prompt for where it should go. I suspect there is a permissions issue related to popups, or maybe that I should be running Thunderbird as Administrator. I'm new to both TB and this extension - please be gentle. ;)
Since we're here, the README details how this extension evolved from Thunderbird into a separate app, and yet it's running as an extension. I'm I not running this in the proper environment? More importantly, is there information that I might have missed about using this within or outside of TB?
Thanks!
