Is Your Feature Request Related to a Problem?

When you long press a comment, it flashes momentarily. Unfortunately, this happens nearly every time I try to scroll comments. I apparently press my finger to the screen before I actually want to start scrolling which causes the comment to highlight. Scrolling then (correctly) suppresses the long press action and dims the comment again, just to be repeated every time I touch the screen to scroll again. I tend to constantly scroll long comments instead of using the whole screen to read, so I scroll every 2-3 seconds. It's a lot of annoying flashing.

I can't find any setting to disable the flashing when long-pressing a comment.

I'll attach a video example. (I was being rather deliberate here, so it doesn't look super natural, but it accurately portrays what I experience.)

Feature Description

A setting to disable flashing comments when long pressing them would be very welcome! Thanks!
