"File changed on server" sometimes appears unexpectedly and prevents saving #294
Comments
Not sure why it's happening, but there's a workaround- Set the save method to "upload save" as described at https://github.com/simonbaird/tiddlyhost/wiki/About-the-two-different-save-methods . |
Okay, I tried that and it seems to be working. Thanks a lot! |
It's been reported a couple of times, so maybe there's a bug. I'll keep this open. |
I've started running into this bug. It doesn't happen with a Feather Wiki, but I get the error message whenever I try to save a TiddlyWiki "external core" or "self-contained" wiki. This is the error message text:

Many, many thanks in advance for any help! |
Update: I upgraded the problematic site to the TiddlyWiki 5.3.6 and that has fixed it for now. Not sure whether it was the upgrade itself or the re-upload which did the trick. Will post again if I have any further issue. |
I keep getting this error message:
"Error while saving:
File changed on server
The site has been updated since you first loaded it. Saving now would cause those updates to be overwritten.
Try reloading and then reapplying your changes."
This started today - yesterday everything worked fine. I logged in and out a couple of times and cleared my browser cache, it didn't change anything. I'm using Firefox 109.0 (32-Bit), but it also happened on Chrome. Does anyone have tips on what to do? Thank you!!!
