Replying to OP's thread to second this notion. I would be happy to pay for an AU/VST synth plugin version of Furnace to utilize its myriad of chip emulations in a DAW setting such as Logic. Trackers are indeed amazing, but I, like the OP, also feel more at home in a DAW environment and would love to compose with the sounds Furnace has to offer. Really hope something like this happens. |

First of all, I want to say that I am extremely impressed with how comprehensive you've made this project in its efforts to emulate a wide variety of chips with such accuracy. I've experimented with Furnace a little bit and I'm definitely having fun using it to create a variety of sounds. However, I tend to typically use other DAWs so I can have access to the various plugins, effects, and other quality-of-life tools that they tend to offer. I also just tend to be bad at making songs in trackers. Thus, I have this question and suggestion:
Are there any plans on making the synth side of furnace a DAW-compatible (LV2, VST, CLAP, etc) plugin? I really love messing around with all the different chips on furnace, but I really want to be able to use them in a DAW that I'm more comfortable with. I have absolutely nothing against furnace as a tracker, but my brain just can't really wrap itself around them.
Thank you for your consideration.
