Enter/Return and F5 - What's the difference in "play"?

According to the manual ENTER(Return) is Play/Stop (toggle) whereas F5 is "Play(from the beginning)". The "Quickstart" guide says at some point "now try the shortcut F5 to play from the start without having to move there", but ENTER does that already. It always starts from the beginning. Is it supposed to start from where it left off, because it doesn't do that. Is my install bugged or do I not understand the difference between F5 and ENTER in the quickstart guide's context? (I know F5 doesn't "stop" the play. Just wondering about the "play" function between the two). Cheers.
