Many parts of the repository are in French because these workshops were primarly written for a French audience. However if you want help us in any way, please talk to us in English so that everybody can understand your contribution.
If you're facing a compilation bug, please do the following before submitting:

Read the INSTALL doc and check that you're using the right compilation toolchain

Read the SYNTAX specs and check that you used the correct markdown syntax

Run
make alllocally to build your modifications before submitting -
Check that you have included the media files in your patch

Check that any content you are submitting can be published under the PGDG copyright and distributed according to the PostgreSQL License
