In the current implementation, the "code" field is identical to the "display" field for permissible values (example). I was talking to Denise Warzel today, and she pointed out that every permissible value in caDSR has a "VM Public ID" and "VM Version" (example -- click on the "Value Domain" tab) -- would that be a better value in the "code" term? I think they are unique to each permissible value, although you might need to check with Gilberto about that.
