Folder view doesn't work on Android 11. By default it's set to /storage/emulated/0/music, but my music is on an SD card. When I move up the hierarchy, all folders at /storage and / are shown as completely empty, so there is no way for me to navigate to the SD card.
I believe this might be the issue described here and here. Google apparently decided that allowing the user to access their own files was oh so dangerous, so they decided the wise thing to do was destroying every app that works with raw file views instead (which seems to be a pattern nowadays). It seems like the apps need to be changed to support file views on Android 11 (see the second link). I have tried a few other music players with direct folder access, and the issue doesn't seem to be unique to Shuttle.
And yes, Shuttle does find and play my music through all the other screens, just not the raw folder view.
Steps to reproduce:
Install Shuttle+
Open the "Folders" tab
Navigate up the folder hierarchy
Folders will be showing up as completely empty.
Expected outcome:
Shuttle+ should display the directories properly, or allow selecting the SD card in folder view directly somehow.
Observations/Actual Result:
Folders displayed as empty. See above.

I'm still on 9 but I'm interested to know what happens if you navigate to / storage, is there a folder with a name like 1D74-6823 which is the root of the SD card on my Galaxy J3?

Not in Shuttle+. When I navigate up in Folder View, /storage shows up as completely empty (only .. is listed, for the parent directory). Same is true when navigating to the root directory / itself.
However, a folder like that (the SD card root) does show up when I navigate to /storage in Solid Explorer, which I use as my main file explorer. So the directory does exist, Shuttle+ just can't see it.
I have switched to Poweramp because of this issue, which displays the folder view correctly. So I assume it is indeed something that needs to be fixed in every single app for Android 11.
Shuttle version:
v2.0.17
Device, OS:
Android 11
