adapter.Scan stops by itself

I am using the code in the example in Windows but adapter.Scan stops returning results after a while. There is no panic situation.

I think this is either exactly or similar to what is reported here: #130

I noticed that in my case I occasionally would get a panic, and at other times the communication would just stop even though the application continued running.
