Certain Markdown documents in my project show 0 word count when I first open them. The word count displays correctly only when I do a simple edit.
As long as the file remains open, the word count will afterwards continue to display properly afterwards.
I haven't run exact tests but the document seems to need to have 4,000 words or more for this bug to display.
This is not an issue for text files. I know because the files in question I had recently converted from .txt to .md. Also, I have other far larger .txt files where the word count is displayed correctly.
